I do not have a darkroom, and I prefer it that way. I like the idea of being able to create photos under almost any circumstance. I use a darkroom bag to load the film into the film developing tank. This way all the work can be done in daylight.
All the printing techniques that I have worked with make use of sunlight to transfer the image from negative to paper, so there is no darkroom needed for that step, neither.
