I needed to find an ink that looked like Apache Sunset from Noodler’s Ink, an orange ink with beautiful shading. The problem with Apache Sunset is that it’s nowhere near waterproof, and waterproof is what I wanted. I found various brands I liked, some of them with color options fairly close to Apache Sunset, and some with colors that I could mix to get something in the same landscape.
After a great deal of research, I chose to go with a stock color called Dublin Green from Super 5 Waterproof Ink. Dublin Green, as you might be able to guess, doesn’t look anything at all like Apache Sunset.
