I’ll use the typewriter to make about 30 copies of Jorge Luis Borges’s poem “Los justos” for this issue of Refilstigr. To check for typos I hold the one I just typed, together with the previous copy, up towards the light. They’re typed on onionskin paper, which is quite transparent, so when I hold them up against the light like this it’s easy to see both copies at the same time. If they align perfectly, I know they have no errors, but if they don’t align I might have to throw away the most recent copy.
